Team Sabre website goes LIVE!

At last we finally have a base-camp for our clan members to share their messages, comments and most importantly abuse. Upon surfing around you’ll notice some of the pages are currently unreachable, this is due to me still developing several features within the website. Thankfully most of the core components are now active and ready to be used, in the coming weeks I will try and finish off the rest of the site whilst implementing any improvements along the way.

So what will the new website have to offer when fully completed? Here is the current feature list: 

• News Articles – Core members will be given the permissions to write articles for the homepage and news archive of the website. 
• Forum – A community area for the public and members to post threads
• About – A history of the clan with our achievement’s listed
• Photo’s – A collection of photos taken during our LAN events and social gatherings (toad throwing up)
• Team – A list of all current members of Team Sabre, perhaps some fit pic’s
• Social network – Currently all of the news articles and forum posts are connected to the main social networks (plan to expand this to other areas in the near future)
• Forum (members only) – A restricted zone of the forum only accessible by members
• Article commenting – Logged in and non-logged in users can now post on articles
• Thumbnail magic – When entering images into articles, they will automatically thumbnail and style themselves
• BBcode Editor – I’ve now coded a simple BBcode editor to the posting module found at the bottom of articles

No doubt in the future there will be many more additions to the website, but for now it should be enough, at least for olly to spam on. Watch this space..
